He Kura Tūroa Logo
This is the logo I created for He Kura Tūroa which is a weekend summit that happens in Taharoa New Zealand. It is where Hawaiian people and Māori people gather together and discuss/do activities around food preservation and the māori and hawaiian history around it. They wanted the logo to represent both cultures. The logo incorporates the kumara leaf and a tukutuku pattern. Kumara is found in the pacific and tukutuku pattern represents both cultures geneology, progress and nature.
